Industrial & Manufacturing Construction of Free Economic Zone in Alat, Azerbaijan

Carron + Walsh are providing Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration services for this project which involves the completion of the Masterplan (850 Ha) to establish a new Free Economic Zone in Alat Port, Azerbaijan. Our commission also includes full stage services for the first phase of the scheme (60 Ha) from Budget Estimation through Procurement and to completion of Construction.

This project includes works on three large sites designed to diversify and stimulate economic growth in the region by attracting new value-added and manufacturing activities including Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).  Alat is located South of the Capital City Baku on the Caspian Sea.  Carron + Walsh have been working in conjunction with the design team throughout the development of the Masterplan which involves development of the three sites with a total area of 850 Ha to provide complete site infrastructure, a number of office buildings, the construction of new bridges over existing state highways and incorporation of the existing national rail network into one of the development zones.
